Each community in Crockett County has an excellent sports program including baseball, softball, basketball, football, tennis and other team sports.

The Crockett County Golf and Country Club offers a 9-hole golf course, swimming pool and party facilities.

Many clubs are very active in the county such as: Chamber of Commerce, Ruritans, Lions, Rotary, V.F.W., Sunshine Club, Order of the Eastern Star, Parents In Action, Masons, Jaycees, and Just Say 'No' Program.

The 87-acre Davy Crockett Lake is located in Crockett County and has picnic and restroom facilities. The Crockett Mills Community Center has a large banquet room, concession stand, softball park and horse riding rink.

Crockett Mills is the home of the West Tennessee Cotton Festival. The festival features various events such as a horse show, pet show, carnival, car show, and arts and crafts show. This festival emphasizes having a "cotton-pickin" good time.

The Hornsbluff Wildlife Refuge is also located in Crockett County for wildlife observers. The Refuge offers nature trails, boardwalks and an observation tower.

Numerous lakes, wilderness parks and recreation areas including Reelfoot Lake, Pickwick State Park, Natchez Trace State Park and Paris Landing are a short drive away. Fishing and hunting are popular sports in this area.
