TEC serves the towns of Alamo, Friendship and Maury City, with 4,200 subscribers. The company also offers Extended Area Service (EAS) to Bells and Gadsden, through which all five towns can call without a long distance charge. Bells and Gadsden are served by the BellSouth, however, Gadsden is listed through the Humboldt exchange.
